Beacon Advances Iguana Toward First Gold Production at Lady Ida

Beacon Minerals Limited (ASX: BCN) has reported a key operational milestone at its Iguana open pit within the Lady Ida project, with the first blast successfully completed on 24 January 2026. The initial blast is expected to deliver approximately 20,000 tonnes of laterite ore, marking the commencement of mining activities at Iguana. Site infrastructure construction is progressing, with workshops and offices scheduled for completion in March, while additional blasts are planned to continue building ore stockpiles. First ore mining and stockpiling are expected in early February, with road haulage to the Jaurdi processing facility set to commence shortly thereafter. Iguana ore is scheduled to be fed into the mill in February 2026, with the first gold pour anticipated in late February.
