BOQ Names Rod Finch as New CEO to Maintain Leadership Stability
Bank of Queensland Limited (ASX: BOQ) has announced that Rod Finch is set to step into the position of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, with his tenure beginning on 1 March 2026. Mr Finch will succeed Patrick Allaway, who will step down from the executive role on 28 February 2026 following a period of strategic stabilisation and transformation. Mr Finch has been with BOQ since 2023, most recently serving as Chief Transformation and Operations Officer, where he played a central role in advancing the group’s digital transformation, operational uplift, and risk framework. He brings more than two decades of experience across banking, product, customer, and strategy roles in Australia and the United Kingdom. The Board views the appointment as providing continuity at a critical stage of execution, with BOQ focused on simplifying its operating model, strengthening performance, and delivering improved outcomes for customers and shareholders.
