BPH Global Establishes Strategic Research Framework with Indonesias BRIN
BPH Global Ltd (ASX: BP8) has entered into a binding research collaboration framework in Indonesia through its local subsidiary, marking a strategic step into government-backed innovation partnerships. The agreement creates a formal platform for joint research initiatives with Indonesia’s national innovation body and positions BPH Global within a select group of industry participants engaged under a national research-to-industry program. The framework enables future project-level agreements, with initial focus expected on fucoidan extraction technology derived from brown seaweed. This technology is intended to support downstream applications in anti-ageing and personal care products, with scope for licensing existing government-owned intellectual property and co-developing improvements through collaborative R&D. The arrangement is structured over an initial three-year term and supports BPH Global’s longer-term strategy of developing higher-value seaweed-derived products through research-led commercialisation pathways.
