Can Talonx Resources High Grade Viking Gold Results Accelerate Resource Growth Potentail?
Talonx Resources Limited (ASX: TXR) has reported encouraging RC drilling results from its Viking Gold Project in Western Australia, significantly expanding the footprint of shallow oxide gold mineralisation at the Beaker 2 Prospect. Drilling confirmed a broadly continuous oxide gold zone extending approximately 400m by 300m, with mineralisation remaining open to the west, north and south, highlighting substantial resource growth potential. The standout result came from hole 26VKRC010, which intersected 8m at 11.02 g/t Au from 32m, including an exceptional 4m at 20.86 g/t Au, associated with strong quartz veining that may indicate a higher-grade primary gold system beneath the oxide profile. All ten RC holes drilled at Beaker 2 returned gold mineralisation, reinforcing continuity across the prospect. At Beaker 4, results supported a north-plunging gold shoot that remains open at depth. The Company plans further drilling to expand the oxide footprint, test fresh-rock mineralisation beneath the high-grade intercept and advance Beaker 2 toward a potential maiden Mineral Resource estimate.
