Propel Funeral Partners Expands New Zealand Footprint with Three Acquisitions
Propel Funeral Partners Limited (ASX: PFP) has strengthened its presence in New Zealand through the acquisition of three regional funeral service providers, including associated infrastructure, real estate, and a cremation facility. The transactions are expected to broaden the company’s network across Gisborne, Balclutha, and Rotorua while adding more than 700 annual funerals and approximately AU$4 million in annual revenue based on FY25 performance.
The total acquisition value is up to AU$9.1 million, with most of the consideration payable upon completion and the remainder linked to future performance milestones. Management expects the acquisitions to be earnings accretive in their first year of ownership. Alongside the acquisitions, Propel provided FY26 guidance, forecasting revenue between AU$225 million and AU$230 million and operating EBITDA of AU$54.5 million to AU$56.5 million. The outlook assumes modest funeral growth, stable margins, and moderate cost increases, although a stronger Australian dollar is expected to create some foreign exchange headwinds.
