Celsius Resources Receives Court Clearance on Auditor Status and Share Validity.
Celsius Resources Limited (ASX: CLA) has obtained court approval confirming the validity of its long-standing auditor appointment and historical share issuances. The Supreme Court of Western Australia ruled that the resignation of BDO Audit (WA) Pty Ltd in late 2011 was effective and that RSM Australia Partners was properly appointed as the company’s auditor from the same date. The Court also confirmed that Celsius’s financial reports prepared since that time were appropriately audited and complied with statutory requirements. Importantly, the ruling validated past issues and subsequent sales of shares, removing any uncertainty arising from technical disclosure or notification matters. The company and its current and former directors were also relieved from potential civil liability linked to these historical issues. Following the granting of the orders, Celsius’s securities were reinstated to official quotation on the ASX on 9 February 2026. The outcome provides regulatory clarity, removes a legacy compliance concern, and restores normal trading for shareholders.
