ClearVue Technologies Limited (ASX: CPV) has announced that its full range of double-glass building-integrated photovoltaic products has been awarded Grade A certification under the AS/NZS 2208:2023 safety glazing standard in Australia and New Zealand. The certification covers Vision Glass, Solar Skylight, Solar Balustrade, Solar Cladding, and Solar Spandrel products, confirming compliance with strict requirements for impact resistance, fragmentation behaviour, and durability in building applications. The approval applies to laminated and toughened laminated glass systems using PVB interlayers, with thickness specifications between 7.92mm and 25.52mm and panel sizes reaching up to 2400mm by 7000mm. Grade A represents the highest level of safety classification for architectural glazing, confirming suitability for occupied buildings and public spaces. Management highlighted that the results validate the structural integrity and safety performance of ClearVue’s solar-enabled glazing, demonstrating that integrating photovoltaic capability does not compromise conventional glass performance.
