Lincoln Advances Minbrie Copper Exploration with First Drilling Campaign
Lincoln Minerals Limited (ASX: LML) has initiated air core drilling at its Minbrie Copper Project on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula, marking the start of its first systematic copper-focused exploration program at the site. The program comprises at least 40 holes targeting around 1.7km of previously untested strike within a broader 17km mineralised stratigraphy prospective for copper and base metals. The focus area includes the Eagle Ridge discovery zone, where historic drilling and reassessment of legacy data highlighted widespread mineralisation, including a notable intercept of 29.5m at 0.8% copper, 7.5% lead, 1.9% zinc and 9g/t silver, indicating significant polymetallic potential.
First results are expected by August 2026, with Stage 1 drilling designed to define targets for potential RC and diamond follow-up later in CY2026. The program aims to refine priority zones within the district-scale system and enhance understanding of mineral continuity across Minbrie, supporting a systematic exploration strategy focused on unlocking copper and base metal potential in South Australia region at Minbrie project area.
