Cokal Resumes Coal Sales with Trial Shipments to Indonesian Steel Producers

Cokal Limited (ASX: CKA) has successfully completed commercial trial coal shipment sales to PT Dexin Steel Indonesia and PT Detian Coking Indonesia, marking its first sales since May 2025. The transactions, structured and facilitated by M Resources, achieved favourable benchmark-linked pricing and signal a positive shift after a prolonged period of subdued market conditions.

M Resources’ senior team, in collaboration with offtake partner INTCO, is actively marketing coal from Cokal’s BBM project to expand domestic sales and enhance long-term value. These shipments indicate improving market sentiment and represent a constructive step toward restoring sales momentum. Cokal has also entered advanced discussions for additional sales in Q4 2025, which are expected to further strengthen its commercial pipeline and reinforce confidence in the Company’s recovery trajectory.
