Dundas Minerals Appoints Jonathan Downes as New Managing Director Following Leadership Transition.

Dundas Minerals Limited (ASX: DUN) has announced the appointment of Jonathan Downes as its new Managing Director, effective 7 October 2025, succeeding founding Managing Director Shane Volk, who will retire on the same date. Mr. Downes brings over 30 years of experience in the mineral and energy sectors, with a proven record in project identification, financing, and development. He previously served as the Managing Director of Kaiser Reef Mining, where he guided the company’s transformation from a junior explorer to a profitable gold producer valued near AU$180 million.

He also holds leadership roles at Brightstar Resources, Strata Minerals, and Cazaly Resources. Dundas Chairman Mark Chadwick expressed confidence that Mr. Downes’ expertise will drive the company’s next phase of growth. The Board also acknowledged Mr. Volk’s instrumental contributions since the company’s inception and his continued support during the transition period.
