Koba Acquires High Grade Tin Tungsten Projects in Queensland and Raises AU$4.35 Million

Koba Resources Limited (ASX: KOB) has entered into a binding agreement with EV Resources Limited to acquire a 100% interest in two high-grade tin-tungsten projects—Stannary Hills and Mt Garnet—covering 432 km² in North Queensland’s prolific Herberton Tin Field. The region, Australia’s second-largest tin-producing area, has yielded over 75,000 tonnes of tin metal from more than 2,400 mines. Both projects host multiple high-priority, under-explored targets with potential for high-grade and bulk-tonnage tin deposits.

Historic drilling at Stannary Hills returned standout results including 9.8 m @ 1.3% Sn and 2.0 m @ 4.8% Sn, while Mt Garnet hosts the high-grade Gilmore Mine, which produced 26,169 tonnes @ 7.6% Sn. Tungsten assays have reached up to 15.3%, further highlighting the area’s strong mineral potential. Initial field programs are scheduled to commence in Q4 2025. To fund exploration across the Yarramba Uranium, Stannary Hills, and Mt Garnet projects, Koba has secured firm commitments for an AU$4.35 million placement at AU$0.05 per share.
