Cosmos Exploration Advances Lithium Strategy with Key Pilot Plant Acquisition

Cosmos Exploration Limited (ASX: C1X) has strengthened its lithium strategy through its optioned entity, EAU Lithium, which has agreed to acquire Vulcan Energy Resources’ A-DLE Pilot Plant 4 in Germany for €1 million. The facility will be used for pilot-scale testing of Bolivia’s lithium-rich brines in partnership with state-owned Yacimientos de Litio Bolivianos (YLB). The agreement is subject to approval by the Bolivian Government and YLB, along with a minimum AU$2 million capital raise by EAU Lithium. Acceptance testing of the plant in Germany is expected to be completed before the transfer to Bolivia by October 2025.

This acquisition marks a significant milestone in evaluating sustainable adsorption-based Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology, aligning with Bolivia’s industrialization goals. Cosmos, through its exclusive option to acquire EAU Lithium, gains structured exposure to one of the world’s most prospective lithium regions, while also advancing its broader portfolio of critical mineral projects in Canada and Australia.
