Critica Limited (ASX: CRI) has achieved a breakthrough with the successful production of its first high-grade Mixed Rare Earth Product (MREP) from the Jupiter Deposit in Western Australia. The material recorded an impressive 84% Total Rare Earth Oxide (TREO) and a 78% recovery rate, highlighting the strength of Critica’s beneficiation-first strategy and lowering technical uncertainty across its processing route. These outcomes confirm Jupiter’s potential to yield premium-quality Mixed Rare Earth Oxide (MREO) using standard, scalable leaching methods.

The 3,000kg pilot plant in Hanoi has entered its commissioning stage, moving the project closer to full-scale production. With ultra-low impurities and high magnet-REE concentration, Jupiter stands as Australia’s largest clay-hosted rare earth deposit. This milestone positions Critica for the next phase of development, including optimisation work, offtake partnerships, and advancing a secure, Western-focused rare earth supply chain.
