NH3 Clean Energy Secures Government Support for WAH₂ Project

NH3 Clean Energy Limited (ASX: NH3) has received Lead Agency approval from the Western Australian Government’s Department of Energy and Economic Diversification for its WAH₂ clean ammonia project. This designation ensures coordinated government support, streamlined approvals, and faster project progression. Located within the Pilbara Hydrogen Hub, WAH₂ aims to supply low-emissions ammonia to major Asian markets such as Japan and South Korea, as well as decarbonised bunker fuel for bulk carriers. The project is advancing through its Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase, targeted for completion by late 2026. NH3 has successfully completed scoping, feasibility, and pre-FEED milestones on time and within budget, strengthening its partnership with the government. With a focus on using renewable energy, NH3 is positioned to contribute to the Asia-Pacific’s energy transition while maintaining interests in the McIntosh Nickel-Copper-PGE and Halls Creek Gold projects
