Estrella Progresses Manganese Extraction Activities Ahead of Market Appraisal
Estrella Resources Limited (ASX: ESR) has updated the market on ongoing extraction work at the Ira Miri manganese project in Timor-Leste, with momentum building toward an initial market appraisal. Manganese-rich horizons have now been intersected during extraction, with additional mineralised zones identified beyond the current sample area, highlighting broader project potential. Stage one pithead stockpiling is underway following approval to produce up to 30,000 tonnes of ore for market testing. As production ramps up, grade control sampling has commenced to refine extraction sequencing and optimise ore quality. In parallel, Estrella is progressing discussions with several international counterparties on potential offtake arrangements, while maintaining active engagement with local communities as development progresses. The Company also confirmed that all limestone samples have now been exported for laboratory analysis.
