First Au Raises Capital to Advance Western Australian Gold Strategy

First Au Limited (ASX: FAU) has received firm commitments to raise AU$ 5.6 million through a strongly supported placement to sophisticated investors, strengthening its balance sheet following a strategic refocus and portfolio simplification The placement will be completed at an issue price of AU$0.01 per share, with participants to receive one free attaching option for every two new shares issued, subject to shareholder approval. Proceeds are expected to support exploration programs at the Gimlet Gold Project, assessment of additional Western Australia-based gold opportunities, and general working capital. The placement also includes AU$600,000 in Director subscriptions, subject to shareholder approval, thereby aligning management with the Company’s exploration and growth objectives.
