Fortuna Metals Strengthens Growth Strategy with Strategic US Investor Backing
Fortuna Metals Limited (ASX: FUN) has entered into a strategic partnership with US-based investment firm WNDR, securing a proposed AU$8.6 million investment that is expected to establish WNDR as a significant shareholder in the company. The agreement is aimed at enhancing Fortuna’s access to North American markets and fostering commercial relationships across the titanium, graphite, and rare earth sectors.
The capital injection is intended to accelerate exploration and development activities at the company’s Mkanda and Kampini projects in Malawi. Planned initiatives include expanded drilling campaigns, resource definition work, metallurgical studies, and other project advancement activities designed to unlock the value of these critical mineral assets.
Beyond funding, the partnership offers Fortuna access to WNDR’s extensive network across technology, aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing industries. The company believes these connections could support future strategic collaborations and downstream opportunities. Subject to shareholder approval, the transaction is expected to provide both financial strength and strategic market exposure, positioning Fortuna to advance its projects and pursue long-term growth opportunities.
