Gorilla Gold Uncovers Another High-Grade Gold Prospect at Comet Vale
Gorilla Gold Mines Ltd (ASX: GG8) has announced a fresh shallow gold discovery at the newly identified Diddy Kong Prospect within its Comet Vale Gold Project in Western Australia. The discovery lies close to the recently announced Magilla and Donkey Kong prospects, further strengthening the project’s exploration potential. Initial drilling delivered encouraging high-grade gold intersections, including 4.0 metres at 2.1 g/t gold and 4.0 metres at 5.2 g/t gold from historic drilling, alongside new shallow intercepts such as 8.0 metres at 3.2 g/t gold.
Management highlighted that mineralisation at Diddy Kong remains open in all directions, indicating strong scope for additional resource expansion. The company also noted that the mineralised trend extends over a strike length exceeding one kilometre, supported by associated soil anomalies. Gorilla Gold plans to accelerate follow-up drilling during May 2026, with six drill rigs operating across its North Kalgoorlie Hub to target further high-grade discoveries and resource growth.
