Green Technology Metals Secures AU$4.5 Million to Advance Ontario Lithium Projects

Green Technology Metals Limited (ASX: GT1) has successfully raised approximately AU$4.5 million through a two-tranche share placement to support the development of its Seymour Lithium Project in Ontario, Canada. The placement, managed by Canaccord Genuity and Foster Stockbroking, involved 160.7 million new shares at AU$0.028 each, with directors contributing about AU$400,000 pending shareholder approval.

Funds will be directed toward completing the Seymour Definitive Feasibility Study, permitting, and advancing the Lithium Hydroxide Converter Prefeasibility Study. GT1, which holds 100% ownership of several high-grade lithium assets across Ontario, currently boasts a global mineral resource of 30.4 million tonnes at 1.17% Li₂O. The projects are strategically located near vital infrastructure, including clean hydro power and transport networks, positioning GT1 to become a vertically integrated lithium producer delivering long-term shareholder value.
