Helia Strengthens Leadership Team with Permanent CEO and CFO Appointments
Helia Group Limited (ASX: HLI) has announced key leadership appointments aimed at supporting the company’s next phase of growth. Mark Senkevics has been selected as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director following a comprehensive executive recruitment process. He is expected to commence the role by December 2026, succeeding Interim CEO Michael Cant, who will remain in the business during a transition period before retiring from full-time executive responsibilities. Senkevics brings more than 25 years of insurance industry experience, having held senior leadership positions across Australia, New Zealand and Asia-Pacific markets. His appointment is expected to strengthen Helia’s strategic focus as the company continues supporting home ownership and lending solutions in Australia. The appointments provide leadership continuity and reflect Helia’s commitment to maintaining strong governance, operational stability and long-term value creation for stakeholders.
