Infinity Mining Confirms High-Grade Antimony Veining at Walhalla South Project
Infinity Mining Limited (ASX: IMI) has confirmed the presence of outcropping quartz-stibnite veining at its Walhalla South Project in eastern Victoria, validating previously reported high-grade antimony rock-chip results. Earlier samples returned grades ranging from 21.6% to 51.4% antimony, with associated gold values. Recent fieldwork identified new laminated quartz-stibnite vein exposure directly within the discovery area, strengthening confidence in a broader mineralised system.
Additional rock-chip samples have been collected, with assay results pending. Field observations indicate that conventional surface geochemistry is likely to define the orientation and scale of the system. The project lies within the highly prospective Melbourne Zone, approximately 100 kilometres southeast of the Sunday Creek gold-antimony project. Infinity has prioritised the Walhalla South tenements as it advances exploration across its portfolio.
