Ioneer Secures US$50 Million to Progress Rhyolite Ridge Lithium-Boron Project.
Ioneer Ltd (ASX: INR) has raised approximately US$50 million (AU$72 million) through a single-tranche placement, issuing around 400 million new shares at AU$0.18 each (~US$0.13). The placement was strongly supported by both new and existing institutional investors, reflecting confidence in the Rhyolite Ridge Lithium-Boron Project. The funds will be allocated to advancing the project, including acquiring long lead items, early construction works, and environmental permitting. With permits in place, Rhyolite Ridge is set to become the only fully permitted, shovel-ready lithium-boron project in the U.S. This capital injection positions Ioneer to accelerate project construction and move forward with strategic partnership discussions. The issue price represents a 14.3% discount to Ioneer’s closing price on 28 January 2026. The transaction is expected to settle by 6 February 2026.
