Kula Gold Reports Strong Visible Gold Intersections at Mt Palmer Gold Project.

Kula Gold Limited (ASX: KGD) has reported promising results from the first diamond drill hole at its Mt Palmer Gold Project in the Southern Cross Goldfields. The hole, drilled to 54m, intersected several quartz reefs from 30.1m, with visible gold identified at multiple intervals between 31.4m and 36.45m. These intersections occur within a broader 5m wide shear zone, with assays currently pending. Historically, Mt Palmer produced over 150,000 ounces of gold at 15.9g/t before closing in 1944 due to World War II, leaving significant potential for undiscovered orebodies.

Recent high-grade shallow drilling results, including 18m @ 4.4g/t gold and 6m @ 36.0g/t gold, further highlight the project’s strong prospectivity. The current diamond core programme, set to run for about 10 days, aims to refine structural understanding and extend mineralised zones. A larger RC rig is scheduled next to test deeper extensions, with assay results expected in coming weeks.
