Leeuwin Metals Hits High-Grade Gold at Marda Project

Leeuwin Metals Ltd (ASX: LM1) announced that at the time of writing it has reported shallow, high-grade gold intersections from its first reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign at the Evanston Prospect within the Marda Gold Project in Western Australia. Key results include 9m at 5.23g/t gold from 57m (including 4m at 10.68g/t), 8m at 6.05g/t from 12m, and 11m at 3.12g/t from 85m.

These assays mark the first large-scale drilling at Evanston in over 20 years and confirm significant potential for resource growth. A recently completed Downhole Electromagnetic (DHEM) survey has also identified a new conductive target, suggesting extensions at depth. Assays from 31 additional holes are pending, with follow-up drilling scheduled later this quarter. The company plans to incorporate these results into a maiden resource estimate for the Marda Gold Project by year-end.
