Legacy Minerals Advances Mt Carrington Drilling Across Silver-Gold and Copper Targets
Legacy Minerals Holdings Limited (ASX: LGM) has provided a drilling update from its Mt Carrington Project in New South Wales, outlining continued diamond drilling at the Mascotte Silver-Gold Prospect and early copper results from first-pass drilling at the Battery Prospect. At Mascotte, drilling is progressing, with the second hole underway as part of an eight-hole program targeting up to 4,000 metres. The first hole intersected wide zones of fine-grained sulphides within quartz veining and breccia, consistent with textures observed at the nearby White Rock deposit. The program is designed to test the 1.3-kilometre strike of historical workings and includes gold assaying, which was not undertaken in earlier campaigns. At the Battery Prospect, drilling has confirmed broad zones of copper mineralisation, including a 52-metre interval at 0.15 percent copper within 95 metres at 0.13 percent copper, supporting the prospectivity of a larger-scale copper system. The Company expects to deliver the Mt Carrington Scoping Study in early March 2026 and remains well funded, with AU$10 million in cash on hand.
