Mamba Exploration Limited-Strategic Entry into a Highly Prospective Gold Province
Mamba Exploration Limited (ASX: M24) has executed a conditional binding agreement to acquire a 70% interest in the Meeka East Gold Project, marking a strategically important expansion into the Murchison Goldfield of Western Australia. The project is located within a proven and fertile gold corridor and spans approximately 152 square kilometres of largely underexplored tenure, offering exposure to multiple priority targets. Meeka East hosts the 140 Foot Well and Bella prospects, which sit along key structural trends associated with historically significant gold systems in the region.
Exploration is being guided by the “Gold in Sediments” geological model, supported by encouraging geophysical and geochemical indicators beneath cover. To fund early-stage exploration and project advancement, the Company has completed commitments for a AU$2.0 million placement, strengthening its pro-forma cash position and enabling near-term fieldwork, including soil sampling and drill preparation. With an experienced technical team, a focused exploration strategy, and a modest enterprise value, Mamba is positioned to generate meaningful exploration momentum from its newly acquired asset base.
