Mandrake Advances Berinka Gold-Copper Project with Major Drilling Program
Mandrake Resources Limited (ASX: MAN) has taken a significant step forward in advancing its wholly owned Berinka Gold-Copper Project in the Northern Territory after securing a drilling contract for a 3,200-metre reverse circulation drilling campaign. The program is designed to further assess gold and copper mineralisation within the highly prospective Pine Creek Orogen, a region known for hosting several multi-million-ounce gold deposits. Historical exploration and previous drilling campaigns have returned encouraging results, including notable gold and copper intersections that support the project's exploration potential. The upcoming drilling will focus on expanding known mineralised zones around the Terry’s prospect area while also testing several unexplored geochemical and geophysical targets. An Environmental Mining Licence application has already been submitted, with drilling expected to commence following regulatory approval. The initiative reflects Mandrake’s strategy of unlocking additional value from its Australian exploration assets while continuing to advance its broader critical minerals portfolio.
