Medallion Metals Extends Forrestania Acquisition Deadline to February 2026
Medallion Metals Limited (ASX: MM8) and IGO Limited (ASX: IGO) have extended the Sunset Date for the Forrestania Nickel Operation (FNO) acquisition to 20 February 2026, allowing more time to satisfy conditions precedent. The extension gives Medallion additional time to complete necessary due diligence and regulatory approvals, with environmental approvals expected by early 2026.
Medallion has agreed to reimburse IGO for FNO-related costs during this period. The delay provides Medallion with more flexibility to secure key agreements and ensure the transaction’s completion. The company remains confident in meeting all requirements by the new deadline. The transaction, once completed, will significantly advance Medallion’s strategic plans for the Forrestania Nickel Operation.
