Mt Edon Rubidium Targets Expanded After Data Review.
Morella Corporation Limited (ASX: 1MC) has strengthened the exploration potential of its Mt Edon Project in Western Australia after identifying several new rubidium-rich pegmatite targets. This follows a detailed reassessment of both historic and recent rock-chip sampling results. The analysis highlights widespread rubidium mineralisation across the project area, extending well beyond the previously identified Sophie, Miles and June pegmatites. Out of 241 samples collected over multiple exploration campaigns, more than half recorded meaningful Rb₂O grades, with several high-grade results and a maximum value reaching 2.84%. These findings significantly increase the scale of the prospective area and confirm Mt Edon as a promising hard-rock rubidium system. The expanded target base enhances the project’s strategic value while supporting Morella’s broader focus on critical minerals alongside lithium. The company intends to progress further surface work and design targeted drilling programs to evaluate the newly identified zones.
