North Stawell Minerals Ltd (ASX: NSM) has reported encouraging exploration progress at its Darlington Project in Victoria, Australia. The company’s recent surface programs, including soil geochemistry and grab sampling, revealed gold anomalies reaching up to 315 g/t Au in historic waste dumps. These findings, alongside drilling intercepts such as 2.3m at 29.3 g/t Au, highlight significant high-grade gold potential along the 3.6km Darlington–Caledonia trend.
A successful geochemistry test-line confirmed surface expressions of mineralisation, prompting a broader survey to refine future drill targets. The project, situated near the Stawell Mine, continues to show strong geological similarities and mineralisation styles. With high arsenic and gold correlations, NSM aims to leverage these results to guide its 2026 exploration strategy and unlock further high-grade gold zones across its 504 km² North Stawell tenement package.
