OpenLearning Limited (ASX: OLL) announced that at the time of writing it has raised AU$2.6 million through a placement to institutional and professional investors at 2.2 cents per share, representing a small discount to its recent average price. The raise, supported by major shareholder Education Centre of Australia (ECA), will fund global growth initiatives, product development, and working capital.
OpenLearning plans to accelerate expansion into new markets, including the Philippines, Brazil, and India, where it has signed new SaaS partnerships and reseller agreements. The company’s AI-powered learning management system now supports more than 230 education providers and 3 million learners worldwide.
With revenue growing for 14 consecutive quarters and a strong pipeline of contracts, OpenLearning aims to reach cash-flow breakeven within 18 months, leveraging its leadership in generative AI to enhance online education at scale.
