Peak Processing Limited (ASX: PKP) has secured firm commitments to raise AU$2.72 million through a placement of approximately 160 million new fully paid ordinary shares priced at AU$0.017 per share, strengthening its balance sheet to support the next phase of growth. The capital raising attracted strong interest from both new and existing sophisticated investors, reflecting confidence in the Company’s operating strategy across Canada and the United States.
Proceeds from the placement are earmarked for scaling sales and distribution, enhancing production efficiency, improving margins, optimising procurement and supply chains, and meeting general working capital needs. Notably, the Board and senior management have demonstrated alignment with shareholders by participating in the placement on identical terms, subject to shareholder approval. The issue price represented a modest discount to the recent market price, while the new shares will rank equally with existing equity.
