PTR Minerals Expands Titanium Discovery With Exceptional Drill Results

PTR Minerals Limited (ASX: PTR) has delivered another strong round of exploration results from the Muckanippie Heavy Mineral Sands Project, confirming extensive, high-grade titanium-rich mineralisation across the Duke and Nardoo saprolite prospects. Drilling returned very thick intersections of heavy minerals from surface, including standout results such as 60 metres at 39.3% HM, 35 metres at 31.5% HM, and 44 metres at 29.4% HM.

Laboratory XRF and QEMSCAN mineralogy indicate a high-value titanium assemblage, with samples returning up to 93% valuable heavy minerals, dominated by altered ilmenite — a premium, high-TiO₂ mineral phase. The mineralisation remains open along a 16-kilometre magnetic trend, demonstrating potential for large-scale extensions.

PTR will now progress metallurgical test work, mineralogical studies, and additional drilling to further quantify resource potential. The results strengthen the project's profile as an emerging camp-scale titanium province complementary to PTR’s nearby Rosewood Titanium Project.
