Pureprofile Acquires CRNRSTONE to Broaden Research Offering.
Pureprofile Limited (ASX: PPL) has entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of CRNRSTONE, an Australian qualitative research specialist, for AU$700,000. The acquisition will be funded from existing cash resources and is scheduled for completion on 1 March 2026. The company expects to incur approximately AU$50,000 in transaction-related costs during the current financial year.
CRNRSTONE, originally established in 1992, delivers qualitative research fieldwork services to a diverse client base and manages “Soapbox,” a proprietary panel of more than 100,000 Australian participants. For FY26, the business is anticipated to generate revenue of about AU$3 million and pro-forma EBITDA of roughly AU$300,000. Management expects the transaction to contribute positively to earnings per share in the first full year, given its profitable profile and no equity dilution.
The acquisition enhances Pureprofile’s service mix by adding qualitative expertise, creates cross-selling opportunities with its quantitative research platform, and expands income potential for panel members through access to higher-value research engagements.
