Retail Food Group Refinances Debt and Reaffirms FY26 Earnings Outlook
Retail Food Group Limited (ASX: RFG) has completed a refinancing of its senior debt facilities, securing a new AU$41.2 million loan with Washington H. Soul Pattinson & Company Limited for a term of nineteen months, maturing on 31 August 2027. The facility replaces existing arrangements and includes an additional AU$7.5 million available to support execution of RFG’s Enhance & Grow strategy, alongside capitalised establishment costs. The refinancing provides balance sheet certainty ahead of the prior facility’s April 2026 maturity. RFG also provided a trading update, guiding to underlying EBITDA of AU$9.0–10.0 million for the first half of FY26, reflecting challenging retail conditions and the absence of prior period non-recurring items. For the full year, RFG reaffirmed underlying EBITDA guidance of AU$20.0–24.0 million, supported by cost reduction initiatives and targeted growth investment. Following a strategic review, the company has confirmed it will retain the Brumby’s Bakery brand.
