Skylark Minerals Begins 23,000 Metre Drilling Campaign at Zaranou
Skylark Minerals Ltd (ASX: SKM) has commenced a 23,000 metre maiden drilling campaign at its flagship Zaranou Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire. The program includes 20,000 metres of reverse circulation (RC) drilling and 3,000 metres of follow-up diamond drilling (DD). The campaign targets new gold discoveries and the extension of known mineralisation at the Ehuasso and M’Basso deposits. The project, located three hours from Abidjan, has demonstrated strong prospectivity, with mineralisation defined over approximately 8 kilometres and drilling to an average depth of 62 metres. Skylark’s resource growth strategy is supported by historical data, including 85,000 metres of prior drilling and 5,850 soil samples. The program is expected to deliver high-impact results throughout 2026, with first assays anticipated in about one month. Skylark’s operational momentum has been strong, with rapid mobilisation completed in under two months.
