Stavely Advances Large-Scale Gold Targets at Fairview South and Freddys Find
Stavely Minerals Limited (ASX: SVY) has provided an update on ongoing gold exploration across its one hundred percent owned Stavely Copper–Gold Project in western Victoria, highlighting progress at both the Fairview South prospect and the large-scale Freddy’s Find epithermal gold target. Phase Three reverse circulation drilling has been completed at Fairview South, with geological indicators supporting a structurally favourable setting and a complex history of alteration associated with epithermal gold mineralisation. At Freddy’s Find, wide-spaced reconnaissance drilling is approximately twenty five percent complete, testing a substantial hydrothermal system measuring roughly two kilometres by seven hundred and fifty metres beneath basalt cover. Early work indicates porphyry-related epithermal carbonate base metal gold mineralisation, a prolific gold-producing style globally. Drilling will resume in the New Year as land access improves, with final assays from both programs expected in early January, providing further clarity on the scale and potential of these emerging gold opportunities.
