True North Copper Limited (ASX: TNC) has secured firm commitments to raise AU$12.5 million through a heavily oversubscribed placement at AU$0.50 per share, attracting strong participation from major shareholders Tembo Capital and Chairman Paul Cronin, along with new institutional investors. This capital injection will fast-track the company’s 2026 exploration and development programs, particularly at the flagship Mt Oxide Project and the emerging Aquila discovery. The placement will occur in two tranches, with Tranche 1 raising AU$8.7 million and Tranche 2 contributing AU$3.8 million pending shareholder approval.
The funds will be deployed across TNC’s three-pillar strategy: DEVELOP, advancing the Cloncurry Copper Project through targeted drilling and technical studies; GROW, accelerating drilling at Mt Oxide to expand Aquila and test high-priority targets along the 10 km structural corridor; and DISCOVER, progressing new regional opportunities with integrated exploration. These initiatives position TNC for a stronger resource base, expanded drilling in 2026, and sustained long-term value creation.
