Turaco Gold Confirms High-Grade Gold Extension at Woulo Woulo
Turaco Gold Limited (ASX: TCG) has reported encouraging deep drilling results from the Woulo Woulo Deposit within its 4.65 million-ounce Afema Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, confirming significant high-grade gold mineralisation extending approximately 250 metres below the current Mineral Resource Estimate. The standout intersection of 100 metres at 1.06 g/t gold from 495 metres, including 36 metres at 1.87 g/t gold and 17 metres at 2.96 g/t gold, validates the Company's geological model and highlights the potential to materially expand the existing 1.7 million-ounce Woulo Woulo resource. The drilling supports the prospect of a larger open pit and potential underground mining opportunities beyond the recently completed Pre-Feasibility Study. Additional deep drilling is currently underway to define the continuity of the higher-grade mineralisation, while exploration also continues across the Adiopan, Anuiri and Begnopan deposits as Turaco advances its strategy to expand the scale, mine life and long-term value of the Afema Gold Project.
