Winter Burrow Delivers Blockbuster Launch, Surpassing AU$3 Million in Under Three Weeks
Streamplay Studio Limited (ASX: SP8) has recorded one of its strongest title launches to date, with Winter Burrow generating over AU$3 million in gross revenue within just 18 days of release. Published by its subsidiary Noodlecake, the game has performed exceptionally across all major platforms. Steam sales have reached more than 45,600 units, supported by a growing wishlist now exceeding 388,000 players. On Nintendo Switch, sales have more than doubled to 37,300 units, propelling the game into the store’s “Best-selling” category.
Xbox Game Pass has also been a major contributor, with approximately 290,000 installs and an additional 1,970 storefront sales. Winter Burrow has now generated around 29% of Streamplay’s FY25 pro-forma revenue in less than three weeks, underscoring the company’s expanding PC and console publishing capability. Continued strong editorial reviews are expected to support sustained demand.
