Adavale Resources (ASX: ADD) has reprocessed historic Induced Polarisation (IP) geophysical data at its Ashes Prospect, revealing a high-conviction drill target previously overlooked by earlier explorers. The reanalysis identified a strong 50 mV/V chargeability anomaly, supported by nearby high-grade rock chip results including up to 10.65 g/t gold, 2.2% copper, and 158 g/t silver. Notably, earlier drilling efforts in 2009 and 2015 did not effectively intersect the core of this anomaly, providing Adavale with a fresh drilling opportunity.
This refined geological model enhances Adavale’s multi-phase exploration strategy across the Parkes Project in New South Wales. The company is preparing for its maiden drilling campaign at Ashes in Q2 2025, with plans to extend the IP survey northward. Concurrently, geochemical results from 279 soil samples and 44 rock chips are pending. These findings, combined with a recent inferred resource estimate of 115,000oz Au at the nearby London-Victoria Gold Project, reinforce the project's exploration potential.
