Aeeris Ltd (ASX: AER) announced the retirement of Kerry Plowright from his roles as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, effective 31 August 2025. Plowright, who founded the company’s subsidiary Early Warning Network in 2007, has been instrumental in shaping Aeeris into a leader in climate risk and resilience solutions. Under his leadership, Aeeris pioneered early warning systems and location-based intelligence platforms, helping businesses and communities across Australia and New Zealand manage extreme weather and climate risks. Over his 18-year tenure, he drove innovation in environmental risk technology and positioned the company as a key player in hazard reduction solutions. The Board expressed its gratitude for his vision and dedication, wishing him success in retirement. James Harris, COO, will report directly to the Board in the interim while succession planning and leadership transition are finalized.
