Aguia Commences Surface Exploration at High-Grade Atocha Gold-Silver Project in Colombia.

Aguia Resources Limited (ASX: AGR) has begun surface reconnaissance and prospecting at its 100%-owned Atocha Project in Tolima, Colombia, following the completion of an updated NI 43-101 report. The 2,584-hectare property lies within a historically rich silver district and exhibits high-grade vein-type gold-silver mineralization. Previous exploration, including 5,083 metres of diamond drilling by Baroyeca Gold & Silver Inc., confirmed multiple bonanza-grade intercepts, with results such as 20.14 g/t Au and 723 g/t Ag over 0.8m in hole AT-21-02.

Recent chip sampling at Veta Grande East returned up to 14.65 g/t Au and 3,480 g/t Ag, underscoring the potential of the project. Aguia’s Phase 2 drilling aims to expand mineralized zones and define new targets along the La Ye corridor. With high grades, proven structures, and untapped depth potential, Atocha represents a highly prospective gold-silver system poised for further discovery.
