Alkali Flats Project Update Lithium Discovery

Fulcrum Lithium Ltd (ASX: FUL) has reported highly encouraging results from the Phase 2 drilling program at its Alkali Flats Project in Esmeralda County, Nevada. The campaign intersected significant lithium-bearing claystones of the Siebert Formation across all drilled holes, with standout mineralisation thicknesses of 112 metres in hole AF2-2 and 67 metres in AF2-10. Grades reached the project’s highest levels to date, including 10.7 metres at 904ppm Li in AF2-4 and 6.1 metres at 938ppm Li in AF2-10.

Results indicate a large mineralised footprint of at least 9km², with more than 9km of lateral continuity, while mineralisation remains open in all directions and at depth. Supported by the successful validation of the basin geological model, the project is now advancing from exploration into the appraisal phase. Fulcrum has begun metallurgical testing and permitting for Phase 3 drilling, which will include infill and extension drilling, core holes for metallurgical studies, and work toward a maiden JORC resource.
