Bailador Secures AU$25 Million from SiteMinder Investment While Retaining Majority Stake.

Bailador Technology Investments Limited (ASX: BTI) has realised AU$25 million in cash from its investment in SiteMinder (ASX: SDR), selling part of its holding at an average price of AU$7.21 per share—4.3% above its previous carrying value. This transaction delivered an effective internal rate of return (IRR) of 36.9% and a 29.4x multiple on Bailador’s original investment. Despite this partial realisation, Bailador retains 75% of its SiteMinder holding, which continues to be its largest portfolio investment.

The move provides portfolio rebalancing while freeing up cash for new opportunities, without significantly reducing Bailador’s exposure to SiteMinder. Paul Wilson, Bailador’s Co-Founder and Managing Partner, remains on the SiteMinder Board, reinforcing the company’s commitment to long-term growth. Wilson highlighted SiteMinder’s robust technology platform, global expansion potential, and strong leadership as key drivers of confidence.
