Alligator Energy Appoints Andrea Marsland-Smith as CEO to Lead Uranium Production Transition

Alligator Energy Limited (ASX: AGE) announced the appointment of Andrea Marsland-Smith as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 01 July 2025, as the Company transitions from uranium explorer to emerging producer. Andrea, currently Chief Operating Officer, brings over 25 years of uranium industry experience, including senior executive roles at Heathgate Resources, Uranium Equities, Orano, and Sinosteel Uranium SA.

Outgoing CEO Greg Hall, who previously signaled his intention to step down, will remain on the Board as Executive Director of Marketing and Investor Relations, supporting business development, stakeholder engagement, and uranium marketing. To strengthen leadership for the next phase, Andrea will expand the executive team with new roles, including General Manager of approvals and Sustainability and General Manager of operations. This leadership transition aligns with Alligator’s focus on advancing the Samphire ISR uranium project toward final feasibility, approvals, and production amid strong long-term uranium market fundamentals and current cost-conscious operational measures.
