Altamin Announces New Chairman, Director and CEO Appointment

Altamin Limited (ASX: AZI) has announced significant leadership changes to support its strategy of supplying critical raw materials for Italy and Europe’s energy transition. Mr Peter Edwards, representing majority shareholder Victor Smorgon Group, has been appointed non-executive Chairman. With extensive experience in strategic resource investments, Mr Edwards will serve without remuneration. The Company also welcomes back Mr Geraint Harris as Director and incoming CEO, effective 1 September 2025.

Mr Harris, who previously advanced Altamin’s Gorno and Lazio projects, brings over 30 years of international mining leadership, including his role as CEO of Adriatic Metals. He will receive director fees of AU$60,000 and, subject to shareholder approval, 10 million options as part of his remuneration package. Interim Managing Director Mr Stephen Hills will return to his role as CFO, Finance Director and Company Secretary, with a proposed award of 2.25 million Performance Shares pending shareholder approval. In line with this renewal, Executive Chairman Alexander Burns and Director Marcello Cardaci have resigned, ensuring a streamlined Board structure aligned with Altamin’s long-term strategic objectives.
