Altamin Limited (ASX: AZI) has announced the fourth and final batch of assay results from its 2024 channel sampling program at the Gorno Project in Italy, delivering high-grade zinc-lead-silver mineralisation outside the current Mineral Resource Estimation (MRE) footprint. Notable results include 1.6 metres @ 47.1% Zn, 4.4% Pb, 84g/t Ag (VCH133) and 1.8 metres @ 44.9% Zn, 15.1% Pb, 179g/t Ag (VCH137), among others. These results confirm the potential for a significant expansion of the current MRE.
The 50 samples from 26 channels were collected across the Parina mine level and adjacent sublevels, targeting mineralisation styles previously inaccessible. The findings further validate Gorno's resource potential and suggest continuity of mineralisation to the east and north. Altamin’s exploration success strengthens its geological understanding and enhances future resource development strategies at Gorno, supporting the potential for future MRE growth.
