Amaero Secures Velo3D Qualification, Begins Powder Shipments for Aerospace Use

Amaero Ltd (ASX: 3DA) has partnered with Auburn University’s National Center for Additive Manufacturing Excellence (NCAME) to advance its metal powder technology. NCAME validated that Amaero’s C103 and Ti64 powders meet key aerospace standards (ASTM F3635, AMS7015, ASTM F3001), fulfilling a critical qualification condition set by Velo3D. This milestone enables Amaero to begin shipments of 500 kg each of C103 and Ti64 powders in Q1 FY2026. Velo3D, a leader in large-format metal 3D printing, will use the powders for aerospace and defense projects. The collaboration enhances Amaero’s position as a U.S.-based producer of high-performance refractory and titanium alloy powders. With advanced gas atomization and PM-HIP capabilities, Amaero aims to strengthen domestic supply chains and reduce reliance on imported materials. Further commercial opportunities, including new refractory alloys, are already underway.
