American Rare Earths (ASX: ARR) has reported strong results from a 106-sample channel sampling program at the Cowboy State Mine within its Halleck Creek Project in Wyoming. Assays revealed Total Rare Earth Oxide (TREO) grades up to 13,651 ppm (1.37%), with 15 samples exceeding 4,500 ppm TREO. The Red Mountain Pluton (RMP) averaged 3,661 ppm TREO, including 1,023 ppm magnet rare earth oxides (28%) and 464 ppm heavy rare earth oxides (13%).
These findings will support the project’s Pre-Feasibility Study, due in late 2025. The consistent presence of high-value magnet elements—neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium, and terbium—reinforces Halleck Creek’s potential as a strategic U.S. supply source. Located on Wyoming state land, the project benefits from streamlined permitting. With plans for staged development and first production targeted by 2029, Halleck Creek is positioned as a key contributor to America’s rare earth independence.
